It consists of (295) independent living units in a four-story, five-wing structure; (60) skilled nursing beds in a two-story wing, (75) assisted living beds in a two-story wing; (18) duplex or triplex stand alone cottages; a 70,000 sf commons center with a full service kitchen and dining, a multipurpose room, activity spaces, housekeeping facilities, administrative offices and a health club with indoor pool and spa. |
The mechanical systems include a 1,600 ton central chilled water plant and a 15,000 MBH heating water plant that includes domestic water heating capacity. The water distribution systems are arranged in a primary/secondary way and are controlled by plant wide digital packaged pumping systems. A series of constant volume and VAV air handling units serve all of the public areas and back-of-house spaces while a four-pipe fan coil system serves all of the skilled care and assisted living units and two-pipe fan coils with electric heating coils serve the independent living units. The cottages have independent gas-fired forced air furnaces with condensing units. |
