History
ABS Consultants, Inc. consisting of thirty mechanical and electrical engineers, designers and support personnel was founded in 1984 by Marc Able and two associates. Since that time we have been fortunate to become associated with clients with whom we shared many of the same values. Because of those firms, we experienced a steady growth and have been able to maintain a consistent staff size. Our staff, essential to defining the personality of ABS, is defined in the following ways:

Experience
We have relied heavily on our past experience in the performance of our present work. Collectively, we offer many years of experience in the planning, selection, design, presentation and construction administration of mechanical and electrical systems. Our staff has a broad range of experience that includes several Registered Professional Engineers (P.E.) and Engineering Interns (E.I.) or Engineers-in-Training (E.I.T.)
We have managed projects totaling over eight million square feet of base building and retail design projects, over five million square feet of interior finish projects and numerous multi-family, institutional industrial, resort hotels and senior housing projects.We are leading the way in mid- and high-rise multi-family residential projects in the Denver and Colorado Mountain areas. We are also designing multi-family residential projects in Arizona, California and Idaho.
We have extensive experience with office buildings, high rises, corporate headquarters, municipal buildings, libraries, hotels, casinos, schools, elderly housing, custom homes, recreation centers, retail centers, athletic facilities, renovations, restaurants and mixed-use facilities. In addition, we have completed a variety of lender's reviews for different types of commercial projects. We have done work throughout Colorado and the front range as well as projects in over forty states across the United States.

Lighting Design
In 1992, we expanded our engineering design services by establishing the ABS Lighting Design group. Our experience as electrical engineers working with other lighting design firms has clearly pointed to the need to provide a construction documents oriented approach to lighting design without sacrificing innovation. We are very excited about the addition of this design group and the opportunity to provide a more complete array of engineering design services to our clients.
